My name is Cole, and I’m a student at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, Texas who originally hails from San Diego. I will be spending all of the 2014-2015 school year at City University London, and I’m expectantly plotting my travel plans for winter, spring, and summer breaks. I’m a compulsive planner—sometimes to a fault—so it’s sometimes a struggle for me to avoid planning every detail of a trip. On the other hand, it’s hard for me to make anything like a list of things to see. Can I just see them all?
Maps are my favorite. I still have my first atlas and my grandfather’s set of dividers, which I use alongside Google Earth. I can stare at maps for hours, absorbing every detail.
As a young child, my parents spoiled me with just enough international travel to whet my appetite. Maybe I’ll post about those trips sometime.
